Base of operations goods

The base of operations goods ( OpBasis goods ) was one of the two missile launch bases of the Soviet 152nd Independent Guards Missile Brigade . The brigade itself was operationally subordinate to the Soviet Armed Forces group in Germany from December 1983 , was subject to the INF Treaty and was in Waren (Müritz) ( Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania ) at the Warenshof , Wokuhl (also: Wokuhl-Dabelow) and Strelitz- Old dislocated. The major association was relocated to the USSR in 1988 to Chernyakhovsk ( Kaliningrad Oblast ).

The OpBasis goods comprised the following components:

  • Reserve command post 152. Independent Guards Missile Brigade
    • 675th Missile Department in Warenshof
    • 806. Rocket Depot in Warenshof
    • with a total of 22 surface-to-surface missiles ( SS-20 = TR 9M79, Totschka), 12 launch ramps , nine missile transporters and seven training missiles
