Opinião Pública (dt .: Public opinion) was a Portuguese Mod - punk - band from Lisbon .

history

It was founded in 1981 in the midst of the Boom do Rock Português , the wave of emerging Portuguese rock bands. With its most important figurehead, the band UHF , the group cultivated a special relationship. They played a number of concerts together, and UHF singer António Manuel Ribeiro produced their album.

The record recording became possible for them after they did well in the band competition of the Festival Só Rock (Eng .: Festival only rock) in Coimbra in 1981 .
