Orc Wars is an American adventure film released by Kohl Glass in 2013. Most of the film was shot near Salt Lake City .
action
Marked by the war, ex-soldier John Norton settles in a hermit house somewhere in the western United States. There he meets the non-human Aleya, a princess from a parallel universe. Over time, besides Aleya, other beings, orcs, enter the real world through a dimensional gate. These orcs want to kidnap the princess and sacrifice it in a ritual. Norton decides to appear as a protector. He receives support from the blind Indian Whitefeather.
After a violent attack, the small group succeeds in capturing the orc leader Fangmark. However, even after torture he does not reveal any useful information and apparently dies from the consequences of the torture. Fangmark escapes during another attack by the orcs.
When Aleya is finally captured, Norton travels to the parallel world. There he is able to save Aleya from sacrifice at the last moment. During the battle against Norton, the female oracle who wants sacrifice makes it clear what she thinks of humans and orcs. Since it also disregards the orcs, Fangmark and Norton conclude a truce and can together defeat the evil oracle.
criticism
The film received almost consistently negative criticism. The film only got a rating of 3.3 on IMDb, and only 25% on Rotten Tomatoes .
