Masiela Lusha
Masiela Lusha (* 23. October 1985 in Tirana , Albania ) is an Albanian - American actress and writer . She became known for the role of Carmen Lopez in the ABC hit sitcom George Lopez , in which she played from 2001 to 2006 and which brought her critical awards such as the Young Artist Award. Since the end of the series, Lusha has mainly starred in films such as Muertas (2006), Time of the Comet (2007) and Blood: The Last Vampire (2009).
Live and act
Masiela Lusha first grew up in the Albanian capital Tirana . Her parents later moved to Budapest and then to Vienna . When Masiela was seven, her family traveled to Michigan , United States. There she began to learn her fourth language, English . At the age of twelve she published her first self-illustrated book in English and Albanian .
Masiela started modeling early. After that, she discovered her passion for acting, and that's how she got the role of Carmen Lopez on The George Lopez Show .
Masiela Lusha attended Glendale Community College. She then moved to the University of California, Los Angeles , where she studied art, film and literature.
