Jason Russell "Rusty" Joiner (born December 11, 1972 in Montgomery , Alabama ) is an American actor and model .

life and career

Born in Montgomery, Alabama, Joiner grew up in Atlanta , Georgia . After graduating from high school, he attended Georgia Southern University in Statesboro for four years . He was a member of the local gymnastics club and was active in various sports. During this time he was discovered by a model scout and spent time with shoots in Paris , Milan and also South America . The 1.80 meter tall joiner modeled for Prada , Abercrombie & Fitch , American Eagle Outfitters , Levis and Powerade, among others . Other clients were Pepsi , Honda and Budweiser.

He was first seen in an episode in the sitcom Chaos City in 2000 . After four years of abstinence from the film business, he was seen in an episode of the television series CSI: Miami and in the comedy Full on the Nuts in 2004 . This was followed by appearances in individual episodes of the series Dr. Vegas , Emergency Room , Bones , Close to Home, and The Closer . In 2007 he was part of the Resident Evil: Extinction ensemble . He played a leading role for the first time in the 2013 film Orc Wars .

Joiner has been married to Charity Walden Joiner since July 2008. They have one child together.
