Ore no Kanojo to Osananajimi ga Shuraba Sugiru ( Japanese 俺 の 彼女 と 幼 な じ み が 修羅 場 す ぎ る , Ger . "My girlfriend and childhood friend argue too much"), Oreshura for short ( 俺 修羅 ), is a series of light novels by Yūji Yūji which was also adapted in several manga , radio plays and as an anime series.

The word Shuraba in the title, translated here as “dispute”, actually means a “bloody / difficult battle” or “bloodbath” and refers to the place ( ba ) where the Asura (Japanese Shura ) fought with Sakra .

action

At the center of the plot is the 15-year-old Eita Kidō ( 季 堂 鋭 太 ). Because his parents divorced a year earlier, both found a new love and left Eita with his aunt, Eita has since rejected romances and love. Instead he devotes himself entirely to school in order to later become a doctor. This for the reason to be able to help his childhood friend ( osananajimi ) Chiwa Harusaki ( 春 咲 千 和 ), who due to an accident one year before can no longer practice her hobby Kendō and was a support to him and to him about the loneliness as his parents left him, helped away. Chiwa is also called " Chihuahua " (Japanese chiwawa ) because of her petite figure, although she is a big (meat) eater , and loves Eita.

One day his school has a new student named Masuzu Natsukawa ( 夏川 真 涼 ), who previously lived abroad. Because of her attractiveness, she receives a large number of love letters. She approaches Eita and asks him to become her boyfriend, not because she loves him, but because she sees him as a like-minded person who also abhors love and as her (false) friend, other boys would no longer bother her. Eita refuses at first, but Masuzu blackmailed him with his old diary that she happened to get her hands on. This comes from Eita's high school days when he still suffered from severe Chūnibyō , that is, he had a youthful "delusion" that he was a reborn superhero from space, which is extremely embarrassing to him today. He complies with Masuzu and learns the Masuzu, who appears to be a gentle and polite girl on the outside, but is extremely manipulative on the inside. This is how Masuzu becomes his (false) girlfriend ( kanojo ).

Khiva is very hostile towards Masuzu. During one of their quarrels, Khiva defiantly expresses that she would become more popular than Masuzu and find a much better friend than Eita. This fails and Masuzu apparently wants to help her, for which she founds a school club. She calls this "Association for girls to stage themselves" ( 自 ら を 演出 す る 乙 女 の 会 , Mizukara o enshutsu suru otome no kai ), 自 演 乙 の 会 for short (read as Jien'otsu no kai , roughly: “Association of the sock puppets "). Chiwa joins this in order to be closer to Eita and to prevent Masuzu from being alone with Eita again.

Himeko Akishino ( 秋 篠 姫 香 ), who suffers from Chūnibyō, is added later. When Eita had a brief relapse into his middle school delusions, he was observed by Himeko, who built his delusions into hers and now sees herself as his friend from a previous life, i.e. in her words as his "ex-girlfriend" ( 元カ ノ , motokano ).

The fourth in the league is Ai Fuyuumi ( 冬 海 愛 衣 ), a member of the disciplinary committee. In this role she initially wanted to close Masuzu's club, but then joins it. The reason for this is that she is also a childhood friend of Eita, but before Khiva, had to move 10 years ago and only recently came back. As children, they vowed to marry each other. Therefore she sees herself as his "fiancée" ( 婚約 者 , kon'yakusha ).
