The Orestes Glacier is a narrow glacier in East Antarctica, Victoria Land . In the Olympus Range it lies on the north face of the Orestes Valley .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1997 based on the naming of the valley of the same name. Its namesake is conveyed via Mount Orestes , Orestes , a figure from Greek mythology .
