Oriana Schrage

Oriana Schrage (born December 28, 1977 in Ashkelon , Israel ) is a German- Brazilian - Swiss film and theater actress .

life and career

Daughter of a German biologist and a Brazilian teacher. She grew up mainly in Cologne , but lived in different countries in the meantime. She has German, Israeli, Brazilian and Swiss citizenship. She completed her acting studies at the HMT (today's Zurich University of the Arts ). She plays in theater and films, works as a speaker for audio books, documentaries and the weekly science program Einstein, and does readings and moderations.

Her first film role on the side of Lavinia Wilson she played in 1996 in the love drama The first time by Connie Walther. Since 2010 she has been working as a spokesperson for the Swiss Library for the Blind and in the speaker pool of the Swiss television broadcaster SRF . Since January 2017 she has been on tour with the play "Dickhäuter", which won the renowned Mülheim Children's Play Prize in 2017. The piece was developed by the actors Oriana Schrage, Romeo Meyer, the musician Andi Peter, the director Brigitta Soraperra, together with the author Tina Müller. In 2005 they developed the piece "Turkish Gold" in a similar constellation.

Lisa Gertsch won over the Academy in Los Angeles with the bachelor's degree film 2017 "FAST EVERYTHING" in which Oriana Schrage played the leading role alongside Michael Neuenschwander and was awarded the Silver Student Oscar in the "Narrative- International Film Schools" section. The award ceremony took place on October 11, 2018 at the Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Los Angeles.
