The children's performance (original title: Orphan's Benefit ) is an American cartoon film from Disney Studios from 1934 . In this Mickey Mouse - cartoon first time Micky, were Donald Duck and Goofy on together.

Production history

After the surprise success of the Silly Symphonies cartoon The Clever Little Henne , in which the supporting character Donald Duck had caught Walt Disney's attention thanks to Clarence Nash's inimitable voice , Donald was first used in a Mickey Mouse cartoon just six months later. In addition to Donald, Goofy, Rudi Ross and Klarabella Kuh were three other well-known minor characters from Disney cartoons. Henriette Huhn made her first appearance as an opera diva in Die Kindervorstellung , after which she appeared in eight other cartoons.

Animator Richard Lundy gave Donald Duck the typical fighting pose with an outstretched arm for the first time in The Children's Presentation, thus making a decisive contribution to the creation of the character.

In 1941, a remake in color was released by Disney Studios. Riley Thomson directed this remake.
