The Orserental is a valley in the canton of Schaffhausen in Switzerland . It runs between the Hemmentalertal in the west and the Merishausertal in the east in a south-easterly direction. The uninhabited valley crosses the heights of the Rand . It is used for agriculture and forestry. A popular ascent to the Buchberghaus der Naturfreunde leads through the quiet valley that is only accessible via a forest road.
