Osłonin (Polish pronunciation: [ɔˈswɔnin] ; Eng . Schleunchen ) is a Polish village in the Przemęt municipality in the Wolsztyński district in the Greater Poland Voivodeship in west-central Poland .

It is located about ten kilometers southwest of Przemęt (center of the municipality), and twenty kilometers south of Wolsztyn (capital of the district) and about 70 kilometers southwest of Poznań (capital of the region).

history

After the First World War , the German Reich Schleunchen and most of the province of Posen had to cede. After the occupation of Poland, Schleunchen once again belonged to the German Reich from 1939 to 1945.

From 1975 to 1998 the village was part of the Leszno Voivodeship . Osłonin has been part of the Greater Poland Voivodeship since 1999.
