Oscar Brodney

Oscar Brodney (born February 18, 1907 in Boston , Massachusetts , † February 12, 2008 in Beverly Hills , California ) was an American screenwriter .

Brodney studied law at Boston University and Harvard . After completing his studies, he worked as a lawyer and switched to the film industry in 1935. For the screenplay for the feature film The Glenn Miller Story , he and Valentine Davies were nominated for an Oscar for Best Original Screenplay in 1955 .
