Oscar Mina

Oscar Mina (born September 24, 1958 in Serravalle ) is a politician from San Marino . He was from April 1 to October 1, 2009 together with Massimo Cenci Capitano Reggente (Head of State) of San Marino.

Life

Oscar Mina graduated in electrical engineering in 1979 and then studied political science at Urbino University . Since 1979 he has been employed in the public service of San Marino in the areas of water and gas supply. Mina is single and lives in Serravalle.

politics

Mina joined the Christian Democratic PDCS in 1998 . He was elected to the Consiglio Grande e Generale , the Parliament of San Marino, in 2006, 2008 and 2012 . From 2006 to 2007 he was a member of the Finance Committee and the Inter-Parliamentary Commission. He has been on the Justice Committee since 2007. Mina was elected to the Consiglio dei XII in 2008. He has been a member of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly since 2008 and has headed the San Marinese delegation since 2009. Mina has been deputy group leader of the PDCS since 2008. For the period from April 1, 2009 to October 1, 2009 Oscar Mina was elected together with Massimo Cenci as Capitano Reggente the head of state of San Marino. On April 28, 2011 he succeeded the resigned Alessandro Scarano Sindaco di Governo. After the 2012 election he was confirmed in this office. In the 28th legislative period from December 2012, Mina heads the Health Committee and the San Marinese delegation to the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly .
