The 523 km long Oschogina ( Russian Ожогина ) is a left tributary of the Kolyma in Siberia ( Russia , Asia ).

The Ozhogina River arises from the in Momagebirge springing headwaters Sulakkan (Сулаккан) and Djolkju (Дьёлкю). In the further course it flows strongly meandering through the lowlands in the northeast of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) .

The catchment area of ​​the Oschogina covers 24,300 km²; there are about 2,800 lakes with a total area of ​​908 km².

The Oschogina freezes from October to May, whereby it regularly freezes through to the bottom.

The underflow is navigable for smaller ships.

The main tributaries are from the right Tschotscholjugjun (Чёчёлюгюн) and left the Choska (Хоска).
