Osetnik

Osetnik (German formerly Wusen ) is a village in the Gmina Orneta in the Polish Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship . In 2011, 107 people lived there.

history

The oldest mention of the place Wosen is from 1289, given to a brother by the Warmian bishop Heinrich Fleming. Probably since the 16th century it was in the possession of the cathedral chapter in Ermland.

From 1773 Wusen belonged to the Prussian province of East Prussia, from 1819 to the Braunsberg district.

The place has belonged to Poland since 1945.
