The Powiat Lidzbarski is a powiat ( district ) in the northwestern part of the Polish Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship with the district town of Lidzbark Warmiński . The powiat has about 42,000 inhabitants on an area of ​​924.42 km².

The powiat Lidzbarski is enclosed clockwise by the powiat Bartoszyce in the northeast, Olsztyn , Ostróda , Elbląg and Braniewo .

Its area is not identical to the former Heilsberg district .
