The powiat Węgorzewski is a powiat (district) in the Polish Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship . The powiat has an area of 693.4 km², on which about 22,800 inhabitants live.
The powiat Węgorzewski was established on January 1, 2002 and includes the northernmost three communities of the then powiat Giżycki . The area is not identical to the former district of Angerburg .
