The Powiat Olecki is a powiat (district) in the Polish Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship . The powiat has an area of 873.8 km², on which about 34,300 inhabitants live.
The area corresponds roughly to the former Oletzko district (from 1939 Treuburg district).
Communities
The powiat comprises four municipalities, including one urban and rural municipality and three rural municipalities:
Urban-and-rural parish
- Olecko ( Marggrabowa , Oletzko , from 1928 Treuburg ): 22,057 inhabitants
Rural communities
- Kowale Oleckie ( Kowahlen ): 4989 inhabitants
- Świętajno ( Schwentainen ): 3909 inhabitants
- Wieliczki ( Wielitzken ): 3326 inhabitants
