Oskar Herrfurth
Oskar Herrfurth (born February 5, 1862 in Merseburg , † 1934 ) was a German painter and illustrator.
Life
He received his training at the art school in Weimar , he lived in Weimar for many years, and later in Hamburg . He painted genre pictures as well as fairy tale pictures and worked as an illustrator . He illustrated a. a. the tales of lies by Karl Friedrich Hieronymus Freiherr von Münchhausen , works by Karl May and Grimm's fairy tales and fairy tales by Hans Christian Andersen and Ludwig Bechstein .
