Oskar Löber

Oskar Löber , also Oscar Loeber (born October 15, 1869 in Obersuhl , † after 1930) was a German author , Protestant pastor , theologian and senior government councilor .

Life

Löber was born in Obersuhl in the Rotenburg an der Fulda district and attended what was then the Royal High School in Bad Hersfeld until 1888 . Until 1892 he studied in Berlin and at the Philipps University in Marburg , where he passed both theological exams and the rector's examination. After that, Löber was assistant preacher and rector in Felsberg for nine years . On May 1, 1902, he became pastor in Rengshausen in the Kassel administrative district and on September 1, 1907, district school inspector in Waldbröl near Cologne . On April 20, 1911, Oskar Löber was appointed acting senior director of the Royal Prussian seminary in Uetersen , from which today's Ludwig-Meyn-Gymnasium emerged . He carried out this office until 1915 and was transferred to Aurich in East Friesland as senior government councilor in the same year . In the following time Löber wrote several treatises and books on Prussian school law and system in collaboration with Karl Lienhop .
