Osman Nuri Işılar (born October 17, 1953 in Konya ) is a Turkish football coach .

Career

Işılar was born in the western Turkish city of Konya and took an early interest in sports, especially football. He began to work as a coach in the mid-1980s and has held positions such as junior, co-and head coach in several amateur clubs. In 1990 he trained with the third division club Çubukspor for the first time as head coach at a professional club. In the following years he took over the post of junior, co-and head coach at various clubs and assisted coaches such as Metin Türel .

Since the summer of 2011 he took over the post of junior coach at the second division Boluspor . After the head coach Cihat Arslan resigned from his position in December 2011 , Işılar took over this position on an interim basis until the winter break and led the team in two competitive games. Then he returned to his old job. In the 2012/13 season he took over the post of head coach on an interim basis and looked after the team on the 13th match day. He then gave his post to the new head coach Oğuz Çetin and returned to his old job. After Çetin also resigned from his position after the 31st matchday, Işılar took over the team for a third time on an interim basis and looked after them until the end of the season. In the summer of 2013 he was replaced by Ali Beykoz .

In the summer of 2013 he started working again as a youth coach for the capital club Gençlerbirliği. After he dismissed his head coach of the professional team after the 2nd match day of the 2014/15 season, Işılar took over the head coach post for a first division game and then returned to his old job.
