Ottoman-Polish Wars
The Ottoman-Polish Wars , also known as the Polish Turkish Wars , are a series of wars that took place in the 17th century between Poland-Lithuania and the Ottoman Empire . These wars were triggered by territorial disputes over the Danube principalities and Podolia . The wars belonging to the Turkish Wars took place in the period from 1620 to 1699, at the end of which was the Peace of Karlowitz .
