Ossi Rumpunen (born April 18, 1989 ) is a Finnish volleyball player .

Career

Rumpunen started his career in 2006 with Naantalin VG-62. A year later he moved to the first division club Raision Loimu. His father, the national player Kai Rumpunen , already played there . In 2010 the club was third in the Finnish league with Ossi Rumpunen. The outside attacker took in 2015 with the Finnish national team at the European Games and the World League in part. He was in the squad together with his older brother Tomi Rumpunen . In the 2015/16 season he played with Raision Loimu in the Challenge Cup . In 2016 he was signed by the German Bundesliga club SWD Powervolleys Düren . There he played together with his brother in the 2016/17 season and reached third place in the league. After the season he left the club. First he returned to Loimu. From December 2017 to March 2018 he played in Solingen with the Bergische Volleys .
