Oswald LeWinter

Oswald LeWinter (born April 4, 1931 in Vienna , Austria ; † February 13, 2013 in Holly Hill , South Carolina ) was an American secret service agent who, in addition to his poetic works, became known as a whistleblower . For example, in 1998 he tried to sell Mohamed Al-Fayed documents that were supposed to prove that Diana Spencer ("Lady Diana") was killed by the Secret Intelligence Service . LeWinter was sentenced to four years in prison for this.

Some of his poetic works were reportedly translated into French , Spanish , Italian, and Swedish in the 1960s .

In 1989 he was editor-in-chief of the Jewish magazine SEMIT published by Abraham Melzer .

Oswald LeWinter was married four times and had five children.
