Otanów ( German Wuthenow ) is a village in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship in Poland . It belongs to the Gmina Myślibórz (Soldin municipality) in the Myśliborski powiat (Soldin district) . The village is located in the Neumark , about 50 km northeast of Küstrin and about 50 km southeast of Stettin .
The Wuthenow estate and the rural community of Wuthenow had existed side by side since the 19th century . In 1910 there were 248 inhabitants in the Wuthenow estate and 103 inhabitants in the rural community of Wuthenow. Later the manor district was incorporated into the rural community. The rural community of Wuthenow was in the district of Soldin until 1945 and with this district belonged to the Prussian province of Brandenburg .
In 1945 Wuthenow, like all areas east of the Oder-Neisse line , came to Poland. Wuthenow received the Polish place name "Otanów".
