Otryby ( German Wotrib ) is a district of the Czech community Soběšín . The village is located in the central Bohemian district of Kutná Hora , about 50 kilometers southeast of Prague . Sights are the church of St. Gallus (Svatý Havel), the remains of a castle at house no. 16, possibly the ancestral seat of the knights of Wotrib, and the Hradek rock southeast of the village. The orientalist , theologian and explorer Alois Musil retired to his estate in Otryby after his retirement in 1938, where he died in 1944.
