The Otterbukta ( Norwegian ) is a small ice harbor off the Princess Martha coast of the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . The bay lies on the edge of the Fimbul Ice Shelf .
Norwegian scientists probably named them after aircraft of the type de Havilland Canada DHC-3 "Otter" , which were often used in the Antarctic.
