Ottilie Graszl
Ottilie "Otti" Graszl (born May 24, 1916 as Ottilie Ratschker , † May 3, 1993 in Vienna ) was an Austrian table tennis player . She won the gold medal in doubles three times at German championships.
Career
Ottilie Ratschker married in 1938 and was then called Graszl.
Similar to Trude Pritzi , Otti Graszl took part in the German championships after Austria was annexed to Germany. She won the German championship with the PSV Vienna team. Together with Trude Pritzi she became German champion in doubles three times in a row , with Heinrich Bednar she won the gold medal in mixed in 1942 .
After the war she played for Austria again. However, she was somewhat overshadowed by Trude Pritzi. Against this she lost the final of the Austrian championship three times from 1946 to 1948 and had to be satisfied with the runner-up. Together with Pritzi, she won three Austrian championships in doubles.
Ottilie Graszl died in 1993. She was buried in the Jedleseer Friedhof in Vienna.
