A cross is embossed on one side, in the corners of which are the letters of the name Otto in the form ODDO, which is framed by the inscription DI GRA REX (for " Dei Gratia Rex ") ("By God's grace, King"). The other side shows a stylized wooden church with the inscription: ATEAHLHT or ATHALHET. The minted silver coins weighed around 1.25 g and were around 17-19 mm in diameter.
