Nanzi ( Chinese 楠梓 區 , Pinyin Nánzǐ Qū ), also Nanzih , is a central district on the west coast of the city of Kaohsiung in Taiwan .
The NEPZ (Nantze Export Processing Zone), in which various semiconductor companies (ASE, NXP, WUS) are located, has been located here since 1967. A petrochemical center in Taiwan can also be found here, the headquarters of the CPC (Chinese Petrol Corp.).
