Otto Bittelmann

Otto Bittelmann (born August 5, 1911 in Schönholz ; † November 26, 2000 in Walsrode ) was a German farmer and politician ( CDU ).

After graduating from high school, Bittelmann completed an agricultural training and was then head of the agricultural operations of the “Deutsche Erde” settlement company in Schwerin . In 1937 Otto Bittelmann joined the NSDAP ( membership number 5,283,821). From 1940 to 1945 he was goods director of the Gross Jentsch goods directorate near Prague . After the Second World War he took up a job as a self-employed farmer, during which he managed Gut Bomlitz (part of the Wolff company’s plant ) from 1951 to 1977 . He was also a member of various agricultural associations.

Bittelmann joined the CDU in 1961. He was deputy chairman of the CDU district association Fallingbostel and chairman of the agricultural committee of the CDU district association Lüneburg . Bittelmann was a council member of the Bomlitz community and a member of the Fallingbostel district . He was a member of the German Bundestag from 1969 to 1972. In parliament he represented the constituency of Hoya .

Bittelmann was president of the experimental and educational institute for alcohol production .
