Otto Eiselin
Otto Eiselin (born December 19, 1896 in Karlsruhe , † April 20, 1962 in Heidelberg ) was a German civil engineer and university professor.
Life
Eiselin studied civil engineering at the Technical University in Karlsruhe from 1916 and graduated in 1920 with a degree in engineering. After temporary work at the Krupp-Werke's Rheinhausen bridge construction institute, he was a research assistant at the Technical University of Munich from 1920 to 1923 , where he was awarded a Dr.-Ing. received his doctorate. In the same year he returned to the industry. In 1923 he was employed in the bridge construction department of the Krupp company, in 1925 in Brod and in 1930 in the Schichau works in Elbing . From 1933 to 1945 he was a full professor for bridge and steel construction at the Technical University of Danzig . After the end of the Second World War , he initially settled in Schwetzingen as a consulting engineer . Most recently he was a full professor for bridge construction at the Technical University of Karlsruhe. In 1958 he retired.
