Otto Ernst von Rappe
Otto Ernst von Rappe († October 20, 1707 in Altenburg ) was a Kurländisch - Polish general.
Life
Otto Ernst von Rappe came from the Courland- Prussian noble family von Rappe . He was a son of the royal Polish lieutenant colonel Heinrich von Rappe and Veronica von Korff . His brother, Christoph von Rappe († after 1716), was also a royal Polish major general and fortress commander in the Ukraine.
Otto Ernst himself was the heir to the estate in Altenburg, Strocken, and drugs in Courland and Corben in the Fischhausen district in Prussia. From 1673 to 1694 he was in command of the Biala Cerkiev fortress in Ukraine. From 1683 he was the royal Polish major general and from 1684 also Truchseß of Polish Livonia .
