Otto Fiebach
Otto Fiebach (* 1851 in Ohlau ; † 1937 in Berlin ) was a German composer .
Initially a music teacher at the preparatory institute in Stargard , Pomerania , Fiebach came to Königsberg i. Pr. There he founded the East Prussian Conservatory . He became organist at the Altroßgärter Church and academic music director . In 1912 he was commissioned to form a city orchestra in connection with the new city hall (Königsberg) .
Fiebach had studied with Friedrich Kiel and was considered a great counterpoint artist and composed oratorios and especially operas ; of which were performed in Dresden : At pious shepherds , The Queen's Officer , Robert and Bertram .
