Otto Hausner (* 1827 in Brody , Galicia , † February 26, 1890 in Lemberg ) was an Austrian politician of Polish nationality.

Otto Hausner studied medicine at the universities in Lemberg , Vienna and Berlin , took part in the March uprising in Berlin in 1848 and in the October fights in Vienna , then settled in Galicia to manage an estate and published several publications.

In 1870 he became a member of the Lviv district council, in 1873 of the Galician state parliament and in 1878 a member of the Austrian Reichsrat , where he joined the liberal faction in the Polish club and made himself felt through his speeches against the Bosnian occupation and the Berlin Treaty of 1878 . He was a fierce opponent of Germany. He was an honorary citizen of Lemberg , Brody , Drohobych , Sambir , Stanislav and Shovkva .
