Otto Jentsch

Otto Jentsch (born May 16, 1898 in Seifhennersdorf ; † October 24, 1978 in Radebeul ) was a German engineer .

Life

The Dr.-Ing. and Reichsbahnbaumeister was a leading engineer from 1927, later technical director in the Dresden gas, water and electricity works . In 1933 or 1937 he joined the NSDAP , in 1946 the SED .

In 1952 he became professor for machine elements and flow machines at the Dresden University of Transport .

In a letter dated September 8, 1952, he was appointed rector of the university. He was the first rector of the University of Transport.

In 1963 he retired .
