Otto Julius Fleck
Otto Julius Fleck (born November 27, 1902 in Berlin , † probably 1960 ) was a German expressionist painter and restorer .
education
Otto Fleck studied at the Kassel Art Academy with Ewald Dülberg and at the Berlin Art Academy with Karl Hofer .
Life
In 1923, Fleck was a founding member of the Kassel artist group Die five around Arnold Bode and a founding member of the Kassel Secession founded in 1927 . From 1936 he lived in the South African Union . He was a restorer at the Michaelis Gallery , at the South African National Gallery and then at the Johannesburg Art Gallery .
