Otto Lasanen
Otto Abraham Lasanen (born April 14, 1891 in Kuopio , † July 25, 1958 in Asikkala ) was a Finnish wrestler .
He fought in the Greco-Roman style in the featherweight weight class (up to 60 kg).
successes
In this category he won the bronze medal at the Olympic Games in Stockholm in 1912 . Two years later he finished fourth at the unofficial European Championships. Even before Finland gained state sovereignty and separated from Russia , he became the Russian national champion in 1917.
Lasanen, who wrestled for the Helsingin Jyry club, was also active in the Finnish Workers' Sports Association Suomen Työvänen Urheiluliitto , which was founded in 1919, and won its championship in 1920.
