Otto Lins-Morstadt

Otto Lins-Morstadt (born May 28, 1889 in Iserlohn , † September 15, 1962 in Asunción , Paraguay ) was a German silent film director and actor .

Life

Otto Lins-Morstadt was the son of Carl Lins (1854–1940) and his wife Clara, née Morstadt (1855–1939). His first marriage was to actress Magda Elgen . In 1927 he married Charlotte Recke (1895–1974) in Berlin . From the marriage, the US Army Lieutenant Colonel and painter Juan Joaquin Lins-Morstadt (1929-2015) emerged.

After the Second World War , Lins-Morstadt lived in Paraguay, where he also worked as an author.
