Otto Schlotke

Otto Schlotke (full name Otto Christian Schlotke * February 26, 1869 in Hamburg , † April 14, 1927 ) was a German writer and journalist .

Life

Otto Schlotke was the son of Ferdinand Schlotke , who had been the owner and editor of the journal for book printing since 1881 . In the trade journal Otto Schlotke wrote in 1893, for example, about the innovations in printing technology shown at the world exhibition in Chicago .

Similar to Theodor Goebel , Otto Schlotke also spoke out against the use of “female assistants” and instead advocated male workers at the typesetting machines .
