Otto Gustav Alexander Siebenbürger (born April 16, 1849 in Höckenberg ; † January 7, 1936 in Kolberg , Pomerania ) was the owner of the manor and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Transylvanian attended high school in Greifenberg and the cadet houses in Potsdam and Berlin . In 1866 he joined the Infantry Regiment No. 54 as an ensign, took part in the war against Austria (battle at Gitschin and Battle of Königgrätz ) and was promoted to officer in September 1866 for distinction in front of the enemy. In 1870 he took part in the war against France ( Battle of Gravelotte and Battle of Champigny , coreing of Paris ), he was wounded near Gravelotte and later on the march to the Jura.

In December 1872 he said goodbye as prime lieutenant to take over his father's estate Höckenberg . From 1893 he was tenant of the Haseleu manor and from 1909 of the Mellen manor , as well as the owner of the Bukowin manor , Lauenburg district. Until the sale of the Höckenberg estate in September 1906, he was for many years head of office, registrar, district council member and landscape deputy, as well as chairman of the agricultural association in the Regenwalde district. He was also a member of the supervisory board of the fire and hail insurance company in Greifswald . He was awarded the Iron Cross II class , the Red Eagle Order IV class , the commemorative medals 1866 and 1870/71 and the Zentenar medal .

From 1907 to 1918 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency district of Stettin 6 ( Naugard , Regenwalde ) and the German Conservative Party .
