Otto Tragy
Otto Tragy (born March 7, 1866 in Prague , † January 7, 1928 in Pasing ) was a German painter and graphic artist.
Born as the son of a lawyer , Tragy studied from October 18, 1886 at the Royal Academy of Arts in Munich with Karl Raupp and Nikolaus Gysis and in Paris with Pascal Adolphe Dagnan-Bouveret .
After completing his studies, he worked as a painter and commercial artist in the Pasing- Obermenzing artists' colony from 1898 . He became a member of the Munich Artists' Cooperative .
In 1898, Tragy acquired a set of Art Nouveau playing cards for the Altenburg playing card factory Schneider & Co.
He exhibited his works in the Munich Glass Palace until 1922 .
