Otto von Ramin (politician)

Otto Friedrich Gebhard von Ramin (born July 15, 1815 in Wartin ; † July 5, 1882 in Brunn in Pomerania ) was a German administrative officer, manor owner and member of parliament.

Life

Otto von Ramin studied at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-University of Bonn and the Friedrich-Wilhelms University in Berlin right and cameralistics . In 1834 he became a member of the Corps Rhenania Bonn . After completing his studies, he entered the Prussian civil service and became a secret councilor in Stettin . He was the owner of the manors Brunn and Günnitz in the Randow district . 1850 Knight of Honor of the Order of St. John , Order of the Red Eagle IV class 1856.

Ramin sat from 1849 to 1852 and from 1855 until his resignation in September 1856 as a member of the constituency of Stettin 2 in the Prussian House of Representatives . In the 1st legislative period he belonged to the Auerswald-Schwerin parliamentary group and in the 2nd legislative period to the right-wing parliamentary group. His parliamentary group membership in the 4th legislative period has not been passed down. From 1865 until his death in 1882 von Ramin belonged to the Prussian manor house .

family

He married Antonie von Borcke on November 14, 1839 (September 18, 1818 - September 29, 1882). The couple had several children:
