The Ouham (often also Bahr Sara or Bahr Sarh) is a river in Central Africa and the left source river of the Shari .

The river has its source in the Central African Republic , on the border between the prefecture of Nana-Mambéré and the prefecture of Ouham-Pendé and crosses Chad until it flows into the Shari 25 km north of Sarh .
Hydrometry
The flow rate of the river has been observed for 33 years (1951–84) in Moïssala , a city in Chad, about 150 km above the confluence with the Shari. The mean annual flow rate observed in Moïssala during this period was 480 m³ / s fed by an area of approx. 67,600 km², almost 95% of the entire catchment area of the river.
