Ovie Mughelli Phillip (* 10. June 1980 in Charleston , South Carolina ) is a former American American football poker players on the position of the full backs . He played for the Baltimore Ravens and the Atlanta Falcons in the National Football League (NFL).
Early years
Mughelli went to high school in his native city of Charleston. He later attended Wake Forest University . USA Today magazine ranked him # 1 in college football fullbacks at the time of his senior year in college .
NFL
Baltimore Ravens
Mughelli was selected in the 2003 NFL draft by the Baltimore Ravens in the fourth round in 134th place. In the 2006 season , on November 12, 2006, when he played against the Tennessee Titans , he scored his first touchdown in the NFL.
Atlanta Falcons
On March 2, 2007, Mughelli signed a six-year contract with the Atlanta Falcons . After the 2010 season , he was nominated for the Pro Bowl . On May 8, 2012, he was released by the Falcons.
St. Louis Rams
On July 28, 2012, he signed a contract with the St. Louis Rams . He was released before the start of the season on August 31, 2012.
After the career
In 2012 Mughelli started as a presenter for an American sports radio station.
