The Oxtongue River is a river in the Province of Ontario in Canada .

It flows through Oxtongue Lake and connects the Lake of Bays with Algonquin Provincial Park . Not far from Oxtongue Lake, it tumbles over the Oxtongue River Ragged Falls - one of the highest waterfalls in the region. The area is used by hikers and nature lovers.
