Final score
Nations Cup
The Nations Cup was played between the 20 teams that had not reached the poule round after the preliminary round. Initially, 3 rounds of the Swiss system were played. The first 8 after these three rounds qualified for the knockout round. In addition, the remaining 9 starting places for the 2012 World Cup were played out. The eight quarter-finalists and the 9th of the preliminary round are qualified for the World Cup.
Preliminary round
At the top of the final table was the host's second team. Since Sweden 1 had already reached the poule round (and later the quarter-finals) and was thus qualified for the World Cup, the team moved into 10th place (San Marino) in the World Cup starting places.
A very weak EM of the teams from Luxembourg and Turkey turned into a debacle with the missed World Cup ticket as well as for the Austrian team.
Final round
Since the Bulgarian team left early, the 9th of the preliminary round, the Czech Republic, advanced to the quarter-finals.
The B tournament was won by Finland (Arttu Poikolainen, Olli Sinnemaa, Juha-Pekka Siro, Tuukka Ylönen), the 2010 World Cup round of 16, against the Czech Republic with 13: 7.
Tir de precision
In the Tir de précision (zD: Precision Shooting ) there is one representative from each nation. Sascha Koch competed for Germany and Dylan Rocher for France, the holder of the unofficial world record. Defending champion Charles "Claudy" Weibel is not there. In the preliminary round, all 35 athletes shot a full 20 rounds. The first 4 of the preliminary round directly reached the quarter-finals, the Tirure in places 5–16 went into the repechage, the second chance in which the best four also qualified for the quarter-finals. From the quarter-finals onwards, the knockout system continues.
Preliminary round
The best result of the preliminary round was achieved by Dylan Rocher (France) with 53 points. Sascha Koch was eliminated with 25 points without reaching the repechage.
Repechage
In the Repechage, the shooters, who landed in the preliminary round in places 5–16, competed. The first four of this round also qualified for the quarter-finals. The shooters from Portugal (Hugo Dores) and somewhat surprisingly from Russia (Evgeny Osokin) showed themselves to be strong here, reaching the knockout round with 48 and 47 points respectively.
Final round
The eight remaining shooters determine the new European champion in the knockout system. The first of the preliminary round shoots against the fourth of the repechage, the second of the preliminary round against the third of the repechage, etc. The final round was completed on Saturday evening. The award ceremony followed immediately after the finals.
In the quarter-finals, Estonian Veiko Proos and Russian Evgeny Osokin had a tough fight. Only in the jump-off (1 shot from 7 meters on each picture) did Proos finally win 8: 5. The world record holder Dylan Rocher also had to fight for a long time against the Dane Emil Petersen. A hit on the Cochonnet from 9 meters secured him the semi-finals. The shooters Wietse van Keulen (Netherlands) and Hugo Dores (Portugal), who were eliminated in the same pool in the afternoon, completed the last four.
In the semi-finals Rocher won against Proos, but missed a new tournament high score. The second semi-final did not have the same class as the first, but the Portuguese was more confident and made it through to the final with ease.
In the final Rocher showed his class and with 61 points not only achieved the best performance of the tournament, but also a European record
