PJ Blumenthal

PJ Blumenthal (* 1946 in New York City , Bronx ) is an American philologist , writer , translator , poet and journalist .

Life

PJ Blumenthal studied at the University of California (UCSB) and has been based in Munich since 1975. He works as a freelance writer and translator. He also worked as a journalist for the popular science magazines PM and PM History and the weekly newspaper Die Zeit . He wrote columns for PM Magazin, for example on The World of Philosophers and Articles and, until it was discontinued in 2009, the blog Der Sprachbloggeur . Since 2009 he has been running his own blog entitled Der Sprachbloggeur - A Passionate Writer . In addition to his work for PM Magazin, he wrote several books about Kaspar Hauser and historical events.
