Pacini Fazzi Editore is an Italian publisher based in Lucca .

The publishing house was founded in 1966 by Maria Pacini Fazzi in Lucca. The focus of the publishing program was initially on local and regional historical publications on the history and culture of the city of Lucca and the Tuscany region . The program has expanded over the years and includes publications on a variety of topics such as book studies , art and music , including several books about the Lucca-born composer Giacomo Puccini . The publisher also works with the Accademia Lucchese di Scienze, Lettere ed Arti and has edited several of their publications. In the field of book studies, the publisher has emerged with the magazine Rara Volumina , a biannual magazine that combines articles on book art , book illustration and bibliophilia .
