The Paddys River is a river in the north of the Australian Capital Territory (area around the capital of Australia ).

It arises on the western slopes of Castle Hill in Namadgi National Park through the confluence of Blue Gum Creek and Punchbowl Creek , flows through an unpopulated area to the northwest and flows into the Cotter River , a few kilometers from its confluence with the Murrumbidgee River .
